A new iTube solution for kitchen hoods: the BVG229NIFFNF international female adapter

A new iTube product!

We have designed and introduced a new adapter to extend our range of fittings.

Meet the BVG229NIFFNF international female adapter.

Female connections on both sides allow 222x89 mm pipes to connect to the more common international 220x90 mm size.

What advantages does the new adapter offer?

1. So far, it has only been possible to connect a 222x89 mm fitting to a 220x90 mm pipe using a BVG229NINF international adapter (with duct connection) together with a BVG229 joint. An example of such a connection is under a venting hob:

From today, thanks to the new female adapter, the 222x89 mm fitting can be connected directly to the 220x90 mm pipe. This eliminates the need to use the BVG229 joint.

2. 2. 2. The new adapter is self-extinguishing with a V0 rating and conforms to IEC EN 60335 standard, “Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-31: Particular requirements for range hoods and other cooking fume extractors”. It is therefore suitable for use in fire prevention and anti-propagation systems. The adapter also conforms to the REACH and RoHS regulations and directives.
      3.  Thanks to its innovative design, the adapter connects perfectly to various fittings, ensuring easy assembly and guaranteeing correct airflow inside and outside the pipe.
